Reading comics on-line is part of my daily ritual. Here are my favourites!
For Better Or For Worse - The ongoing saga of the Patterson family. This comic has been in newspapers since, I think, 1985. I grew up reading it, and now it's a bit of a soap opera for me.
FoxTrot - I love this comic because of all the jokes about video games, sci-fi movies, Macs, and the Internet. Almost guaranteed to be funny!
Heart of the City - The character of Dean in this strip is really the only reason I continue to read it. He's so darn cute! And such a huge geek - I love it when he quotes Star Wars! And his cat's name is Spok!
Get Fuzzy - Bucky is evil. Rob is sarcastic. Satchel is too gullible. Very cute strip.
Queen of Wands - The strip, drawn by the talented Aerie, is over. But she is replaying all the strips with commentary (which is how I got the idea to write commentaries for my comics). Worth reading through the archives. Kestral kinda reminds me of myself.
VG Cats - Stands for "Video Game Cats" and is a weekly strip that mocks video games. Often the humour is a little wrong, but still very funny, especially if you play video games. I love Leo!
Penny Arcade - Another often-wrong comic about video games. Very well drawn, but sometimes confusing.
Two Lumps - A fabulous comic from the point of view of two cats. Ebenezer, who is intellegent and sophisticated; and Snooch, who is, well, not. Favourite quote from this strip: "I smell like pizza!"
Ctrl-Alt-Delete - Another video comic. I have no idea why there are so many of these. This one is also kinda wrong at times, but for some reason, I keep reading it. I love the X-bot!
Questionable Content - My new favourite comic-drama! The story of a bunch of indie teens, Marten, Faye, Dora, and a tiny strange robot named Pintsize. Make sure you read this one from the start to get the whole story.
8-Bit Theatre - OMG I love Black Mage! Based on the storyline for the original 8-bit Final Fantasy, it chronicles the story of the Light Warriors and their quest. There are so many of these, I'm not done reading through the archives yet, but it's hillarious!
