My prof actually used the term 'rock-out' when referring to inscriptions. How could I not draw a comic about that?

The second line was added to give it a more medieval-ish feel. In case you're not historians, illuminated manuscripts are those old documents that have elaborate images drawn on them. They're quite beautiful and done completely by hand. Now I hope that bottom part makes more sense. I was debating cutting it out completely, but decided not to. Probably because of laziness.
