For my research paper for 504, I was looking into censorship and I was alarmed to discover a 'banned books' list.

All the books in this comic (except for the dictionary and possibly the Bible) were on that list. Also, I learned about filtering the internet for words like "sex" or "breast" to avoid exposing children to pornography. Now I'm completely for protecting children from porn, but you can't type in the word "teenage" or "girl" without getting links to X rated sites online. Are you going to filter *every* word in the English language? Why not teach your children right from wrong, and trust that they'll avoid those sites themselves?

This argument spawns another comic as well.
