BIO:

Sailor Janus is the leader of a team of senshi who lived during the Silver Millennia. It was this team, the Sailor Protectors, who guarded the royal family and the young senshi as they grew up and learned of their powers. They were never meant to guard the solar system, as the senshi were, but only to protect the royals of the Moon Kingdom.

Janus is from the planet Earth, where she lived before the planet was united under one ruler. She and most of her team came to the Moon Kingdom when Queen Serenity came to the throne to be her protectors and to help fulfill the destiny of the sailor senshi who would soon be born. Janus is a determined leader, ready to sacrifice herself for others if necessary. She does not enjoy fighting, but realizes that it is necessary to maintain peace. She loves goofing around and doing normal things when she is not on duty, like shopping and reading comics, but when she is on duty she is all seriousness. Janus is loyal, trustworthy, and a big sister to the other members of her team, especially Pandora, who idolizes her.

Each protector is a mentor to one of the young senshi, to watch over them and guide them in their journey. Janus was given the task of mentoring the young Princess Serenity. As the mentor for the future Queen of the Moon Kingdom, Janus tried her hardest to teach Serenity the importance of friendship, love, duty, and honour. She also taught her about self sacrifice, although Serenity picked up that trait mostly by observing Janus. Janus and Serenity would also spend time together in the city, shopping and talking about anything that was bothering the princess. Janus would always listen and offer advice, being like an older sister to the young princess as well as to the other members of her team.
