Here you will find the entire text of the two plays that I have written. They are both based on Greek tragedies, "Oedipus Rex?" is based on "Oedpius Rex" by Sophocles, and "The Pirate Phil" is based on "Philoctetes", also by Sophocles.
Oedipus Rex? (2002): “A parody of the ancient Greek play by Sophocles, this is a humourous retelling of the ancient tragedy.”
This play was performed at the Purple Shorts One-Act Festival in the winter of 2002, and was my first play. Written due to the encouragement of the faculty and students of the Classics Department, it was a huge success at the Festival.

The Pirate Phil (2003): “Trapped on an island for years will do strange things to you. Just ask Phil, who is suddenly wanted by the very pirate who put him on the island and his first mate Nigel.”
My second play, this was submitted but not accepted to the second year of the Purple Shorts Festival. This is a parody of the play Philoctetes by the ancient tragedian Sophocles.
