The world is in terrible danger. Soulbane has risen from his castle to the south and is crossing into the land of Avena, destroying everything he touches. The barons unite under their leader, called the Regina, with the intention of going to war.
A young girl named Diana fantasizes about leaving her life far behind and hiding in a dream. She writes novels to escape, and is surprised to suddenly find herself in the world she created, where the people believe she is a goddess!
Characters:
Diana/Deia - a girl from another world, who is slowly coming to terms with divinity
Ewain - the Lord of Avena, and leader of the combined armies
Felix - Ewain's best friend, and an exceptional swordsman.
Regina Alara - the ruler of Avena, with the power to summon the goddess when needed
Soulbane - a black knight who seeks the goddess for his own dark purposes
This story started out as verbal doodling, a 'what-if' scenario where the author becomes part of the story itself. I don't know if I'll ever finish it, but every once in a while I return and write a few more pages. It's currently incomplete.
